I listened to it about an hour ago on someone else's blog, and it was a great (albeit long) speech that essentially cut all of JT's "excuses" justifying the use of the Emergencies Act to shreds. I suspect that the Banks (and Klaus Schwab) were screaming at him as well. The banks because of the massive run on bank deposits and accounts being closed. Schwab because of Trudeau's disclosure of the plan ahead of time.
His father did the same thing 50 years ago - and used the Act to go after *his* political enemies. If Justin had any sense of honor or shame, he and his ministers would resign with immediate effect. I believe that he and they are utterly shameless - and will have to be driven from power. And there need to be strict limitations put on the Emergency Act as well. And while bills of attainder are prohibited in the US Constitution, perhaps he and his descendants should be blocked from positions of public trust and power, because a certain taste for tyranny seems to run in the family.
His father's abuse is outlined in the speech above. Right now Trudeau is his own worst enemy. His ego won't let him down, and it certainly won't let him resign even though his father's abuse did not lead to a resignation. He just can't bring himself to step down unless he's threatened or is killed.
