Abortion isn’t the actual fight here, the actual fight is whether the Federal government should be able to dictate policy on all matters of real importance to the states, or whether the states should be able to exercise this policy making power on their own without Federal interference. It’s over an Anti-Federalist doctrine known as Constitutional Federalism, which was adopted so that predominantly rural, Anti-Federalist states would participate in a confederation with largely urban Federalist states – the compromise was that states would decide matters of internal importance on their own, with only matters which applied to all of the states in the confederation, such as commerce between the states, foreign trade and policy, and defense against foreign enemies being under the control of the consolidated federal government. And, in fact, failure of this doctrine of Constitutional federalism was contemplated and discussed in 1787:
There are some really good points to consider here! The battle between individual, God-given rights and government rights is an eternal one, and it's important for states to defend their rights as well, since the federal govt. (with world leaders intent on assisting and then subsuming) is hell-bent on destroying our rights that recognize God and the rights bestowed upon us.

also why the proponents of centralized government demean the ‘individual’ and destroy the family... because the empowerment of the individual and strong family structure is the ultimate decentralization of power.
self-sufficiency is a disaster for them... they require us to need them or the model fails.
